And we, the Dermaroller team, would like to give you some useful tips how to optimise the most precious time of the year.
A nicely bronzed skin is associated with youth and health – at least we believe so. Unfortunately this is not the fact. It all depends on your skin type and is associated with the production of melanin, the pigment layer that protects your skin cell DNA from sun damage.
You may think “this little sun exposure” is harmless. Possibly yes for the first, second and third time… But, and this you should always keep in mind: Your skin cells never forget! DNA cell damage is culminating, and each sun exposure adds a little more damage over the course of the years. There will be a time, latest above the thirties, when skin cell damage becomes visible and that damage is irreversible! It results in degraded collagen fibres, more or less pronounced wrinkles and lax skin. A Collagen-Induction-Therapy with the DERMAROLLER can reduce this sun damage by stimulating new collagen layers to a certain extent, but your skin as such will never be what it was before – without sun damage.
Stay in the shade where you still have enough UV-A and UV-B rays. Use a “good” sunscreen with a mineral sun protection filter with a factor of at least 30 (SPF30). This filters about 96% of all sunrays. (So-called sun blockers usually have chemical filters that are affected by perspiration and must be renewed every 2 hours).
Relax in the shade, and let your dreams carry you away. Sleep as much and as long as you want – sleep is the best cell regenerator.
