Dr. Jacob and colleagues defined acne scars in 3 major subtypes:
The rolling scar type is the most common one, and it can be treated with several therapies, mainly with surgical subsicion in order to release the tension on the scar. Since this type is treated with the Dermaroller, subsicion became obsolete and improvement could reach up to 80% provided the procedure was performed by a specialised physician.
But for the ice pick and boxcar types so far the only effective therapy was surgical removal. Since we have developed a new procedure technique combined with a special tooled needle to treat these kinds of scars, we are extremely proud to present you our latest results.
