Success may have many definitions, but one definitely is: When you can harvest the hard work you have invested in an IDEA since many years.
Our Dermaroller-Crew attended the EADV 2008 in Paris – a world congress for dermatology.
During the congress four speakers from India, Dr. Tony Chou from UK and Dr. Ashraf Badawi from Saudi Arabia presented their scientific findings on the Dermaroller and its various therapies for scar, pigmentation, wrinkle and stretch mark treatment. The star of all of them was Dr. Jaishree Sharad, a MD from India who introduced her stunning experience in acne scar treatment on 60 patients.
And what means to attend a congress for an exhibitor? Hard work from morning till evening. For three days you are on your feet for more than 16 hours – long hours from the first morning coffee until dinner, and no bite in between. Countless questions and countless answers.
In three days we explained the Dermaroller-Concept to hundreds of doctors from all over the world. They came from such remote places like Vladivostok in Siberia, Iceland or Tasmania.
The congestion was so intense that our Vice President Michael and I were grateful to our Distributors that rushed for help: Mr. Flor Wellens from Belgium, Mrs. Daniela Castioni from Switzerland and Mr. Thimothy Yim from Hong Kong. Thank you folks – you are what we can call friends.

Finally, in the evening at 7 pm, we joined the crowds on the Champs Elysees, and a fresh beer saved us from dying of thirst. And to be honest with you – we’ll do it again – the congress of course.
