Dear Blog-Friends,
You possibly remember our article about Kiev and our friend Dr. Safonov, that we edited on July 14th, 2008 (pls. scroll down). During his first workshop we treated several patients with scars. On this occasion I introduced our latest medical device: the DERMA-STAMP®. We developed this tiny instrument for isolated scars, as it would not make sense to unpack a Dermaroller® for such a small area, about the seize of a fingernail.
The patient, a brave young woman, refused any numbing after we indicated that the treatment would only take minutes. The scar was cleaned and I started pricking the scar, and after 50% was done Dr. Safonov continued till the end. The entire procedure did not take more than 2 minutes. The little blood points were wiped off and the patient smiled, but her skepticism could not be overlooked. “This was all?”, she said and was somewhat disappointed. We smiled back and I said: “Wait for a month or so”. And here are the results:

Before treatment with the DERMA-STAMP®

Scar one minute after treatment

Scar one month after treatment
We are confident that the scar will improve by 80 to 90% with another 1 or 2 treatments.
Thank you for your attention.

Dear Gabriela,
Thank you for your inquiry. What puzzles me a bit is your term: kellosis. I never heard it and you possible used the wrong term, because in case the scar would be a KELOID, things would be totally different. But they way you describe it, it seems to be a normal little scar.
I do not see any reason why not to treat a kid, a human, like we are, only smaller.
Do NOT treat your kid yourself. Please contact a dermatologist and we shall send him the device plus an instruction. It is very easy to use. First a topical numbing cream has to be applied, that needs about 30 minutes to become effective. The treatment will take about 1 minute. In return I would like to have a close up photo of the scar before and one 6 weeks after the treatment.
Best regards
Horst Liebl
